I've had some connectivity problems the last couple of days, but now the posts are all caught up to current time. Watched the Celtic's comeback this evening (early evening here). Kobe, Phil, and the Lakers are toast.
I’m ahead of my itinerary again. I’ve got reservations in Vancouver Sunday night and Monday night, so I’m open until then. There are a lot of options between now and then.
Here are some….
Jasper NP
Banff NP / Lake Louise
Doing the Cassiar Highway again
Vancouver Island
Whistler
Stay here and catch up on sleep
North Cascades National Park, Washington
Mt. Rainier (one of my favorite places, but a long ways)
Seattle
Cancel the Vancouver reservations and do something completely different
I’ll let you know what I figure out. Sunday night.
Don'cha just love a blog with some mystery?

I am glad you got caught up with your posts. I have missed reading your adventures. Sounds like you are making some good time. I would not skip Vancouver, it is a pretty great city with a lot to see and do. I removed the first comment because I wrote it when I was half asleep, I was so excited that you had posted again and my 4 finger typing.
The pictures have been great, it is pretty special that you have been able to do this. Thanks for sharing this.
Be safe

Hey Alan:
Hope you were able to get some pictures of the new wildlife you saw. The turquoise water looks nice. Too bad the temperature isn't a little warmer for you -- 45 is a little cold, but just be glad you are not in the heat we are having in Charlotte now!
This is the first time I've read your posts in several days. I have been busy at Erin's loving on Alli ! She is pretty sweet -- it is so fun to just sit and watch her stretch and make her funny newborn faces!

I'm with John, don't skip Vancouver - I thought it was neat and didn't have time to go to Vancouver Island. I remember some great seafood restaurants in the wharf area. I think there's also a place to rent a bike and ride around.
Also, on the drive from Vancouver to Seattle you can go thru the Wash State wine country which is like a smaller Napa Valley.
We got lost, but didn't have a GPS 7 years ago. I think we visited Chateau St. Michele and some other one. Was similar to the Napa Valley experience, but Wash State is known for Merlot. I think there's also Columbia vineyards up there. My be a diversion on a thirsty drive.
Have a safe trip home, looking forward to all the hotdogs you owe us from losing the flips.

Biggen....definitely go to Vancouver, and Whistler is one of the most beautiful places. The best way to describe it is like a village type setting with shops, resturants, hotels. Take the chair lift ride up the mountain and get your pic taken with the big bear.
Marks putting the Costco pressure on me big time. I have held my ground so far....get home qiuck so I don't have to go....
Love Nickie
Washington = Pinot Noir!!! Nothing like a great PN - they won't be cheap, but they will be good....hmmm, that sounds vaguely familiar...
